Deep dense but clear red colour. Blackberry, spice and a little bit of wood on nose. Lovely rounded mouthfeel. A touch of anise at the end. Still fresh with a few years left in it. Lovely.

aussie shiraz, through and through. but excellent for the style. dark and inky. fruit forward, blackberries, blueberries, some vanilla, woody notes, cocoa. a nice peppery finish. the tannins and acidity are nicely in balance so you get some structure and body to complement the fruit and hold it together. won't be everyones cup of tea but it's solid, drinking as it should and has some time on it yet, i suspect.

Juicy , ripe and oaky but in a good way. Very much the Aussie Shiraz and textbook well made wine albeit with its voluptuous style which was by design. Goes well with food especially meat and worked very well. A very good 90 but be aware this is a quite modern and very Aussie Shiraz in style so one def needs to like the style.

Deep, clear colour. Intense nose with dark fruits on the nose along with spice. Lovely long flavour in the mouth - complex flavours - dark fruits, spice and perfume. Stood up very well to BBQ'd beef ribs. Drinking very well.

Inky and oozing with dark fruits the first day. Smelling a little bit of sandalwood and dry tobacco. The second day the wine is much more saucy. Hoisin and soy. I think you’d have to wait a long time for this wine to come into focus.
