Decanted 90 minutes. Continues to drink well with notes of dark concentrated fruit (black raspberry, cherry, currant), earth, and spice. This wine has a nice velvety mouthfeel with soft tannins and long finish. Paired with grilled baby back ribs.

Let stand 24h from cellar before opening. Deep purple color. Needed about an hour to open up and stayed consistent over the next few hours. Blackberry, kirsch, raisony, almost like an Amarone. Paired perfectly with BBQ Pork. Well integrated medium tannins, long beautiful finish. Still in prime drinking window probably for another 5+ years. Drinking beautifully now.

Opened and let it breathe for about a hour. Nose shows mature notes dark cherries and blueberry paste with some hints of raisins. Beautiful acidity and grippy tannins still, with a dense a complex palate of raisins, molasses, white pepper, dark fruits, tobacco. Long ending that has beautiful oaky notes. Am excellent wine we paired we a 1.4lbs, 60-day dry aged NY strip steak.

Perfect example of a wine at peak. Dont wait, open up and enjoy. No hurry, but this wine will not get better that this. Last bottle, enjoyed alongside a 2005 Pavie.
