Dujac tasting with Jeremy & Diana (Zoom): 100% whole cluster (as opposed to the roughly half whole cluster 01 served side-by-side). A ripe, rich and full throttle nose of black cherry with plenty of spice. The palate is rich and concentrated yet silky and well balanced. Fruit purity and stem-spice throughout. At peak now and should last for 10+ years at this level.

Dujac Tasting with Jeremy and Diana (Chicago, IL and Nuits-Saint-Georges, France): Not quite as expressive as the 2001 right now. This is of a relatively large scale, and although the fruit still is of the red sort, there is a bit of a tilt towards black fruit as well. The palate is ripe and broad-shouldered, and this wine certainly shows the vintage character. There are some sweet brown spice flavours here, and while the tannins are still a little coarse at the moment, I think there are good things in store.

decanted & consumed. deep ruby, fairly open aromatically from the outset, fresh & floral, elevated, w/sandalwood spice, musk after an hour or so; med. weight; lots of cherries in the market today, so imprint already in place - this is ripe red cherry, decent tension, became firmer over time; optimal zone is a couple years out. food was fat & earth, not especially seasonal, but very fine wine accompaniment.

Domaine Dujac Zoom Tasting with Jeremy and Diana (Planet Earth): Alongside the 2001, this is ripe, fleshy and very fun, yet very balanced. Rich with just enough structure.
