The color is clear, medium lemon. The nose is clean, medium intensity showing light petrol notes, ripe fruits like pineapple, peach, loquat. Fully developed and/or downhill. On the palate the wine is off dry, medium+ body and acidity, medium intensity and alcohol (12%), offering ripe melon, peach, apricot with a rubbery but also sweet mid finish. This is a good wine, past its time, but a good example of how nicely even the entry level label of a top producer can age, despite the bad storage.

Stuck in Diego Garcia for a night and purchased this, which was seemingly the best wine available. Corked and completely undrinkable. I suspect this probably has been sitting on an inhospitable store shelf for a better part of the last decade.

Golden hue that appears a bit watery but gleaming at the same time. Moderate nose reminiscent of champagne. Smells of honey, wood, melon, and fruits blend together lightly. Taste is a a touch bitter and sour like grapefruit or fruit that isn't fully ripe. A bit watery, a bit slick in texture. Aftertaste is pretty grapefruity with a bitter bite. Not a bad wine, but not particularly appealing either. Probably better with food than on its own.

Nice dry riesling. Musty on the open, not in a bad way. Dare I say a hint of strawberry? Slight mineral finish.
