This 12 year old village wine from a mediocre year shows that I should drink my Burgundy later and that good producers make good wines every year: lovely Gevrey, typical nose with earth and stable smells, velvety smooth red fruity taste, fresh, open and clean, mushroom, mineral, nice finish. This is really peaking.

Lovely nose with lots of fruit, truffle, chocolate and some earthiness. Pure taste of black fruit with licorice, chocolate and mushroom. Good length. Drink now.

(Geantet-Pansiot Gevrey-Chambertin Vieilles Vignes) Earth, cherry skins and minerals. Chewy and incrediby rich on the palate. Great ripeness. Long and classy with nice gritty Gevrey tannins.
