Consistent with previous notes; a bit rustic, earthy impressions, strawberry and rose buds in the bouquet. On the palate a firm amount of elegant acidity, earthiness, red forest fruits, some spiciness and soft tannin with still a nice bite. A bit dusty in the finish. With more airtime the fruits show better. Ready now; drink within the next 2 - 3 years.
Beautiful bouquet with autumn forest and still some red fruits. On the palate juicy red fruits, minerals, some earthiness and a lot of elegant acidity. The tannin still has some bite which is nice. A subtle and elegant wine.
Dark and dense vermilion lake with little sign of age. Slightly roasted but not at all surmari aromas of sweet fruit, grilled nuts and meat, tomato paste, earth and iron. Satisfying, mouth-filling presentation in which the acid and tannin of the vintage are assets, not liabilities. Impressive villages, and improved over several hours with perfumed persistance.
