  Bottle finally opened after 2 or 3 punctions through the cork. The tanins now have melted with the concentrated juice of the wine. Nice flavors of black berries, liquorice, leather and light garrigue spices. Very fine pairing with a bbqed honey marinated filet of duck.

  Underperforming in the nose, but expressive at the palate with fine fruit concentration and unmistakably finish with licorice and anis. Nice long finish. Lot of sediment in the bottle and the wine seem to fade out a few hours after opening. Maybe time to drink up? P 90-92
