Still superb for its age, but on decline now. Earth, some faint graphite, slight funk, and faded raspberry. Lots of tug and pull for its label. Feisty little devil! DRINK

An earthy Pomerol that is right in the drinking zone. Shows medium body, elegance, red fruit and tobacco. Nice structure that still provides a clean, dry exit. I would drink these because they are stuck in a very nice place right now. Drink
PS_Im loving 2004 Right Bank wines right now. They have been on point.

Opened to breathe for 2h and enjoyed over an afternoon with garden salad and chicken sandwiches. Consistent with my previous notes, this tastes kinda funky immediately after opening, but after about an hour settles down into an earthy, woodsy bdx with ample red fruit, oak and tobacco on the nose and palate.

Opened to breathe for 1h. Lots of earthy and woodsy aromas, coupled with berry fruit. A dirty Bdx for sure but lots of fruit and cedar. Tannins completely integrated. Well within its drinking window; I will try to hold off for a year before I open my last bottle. Tonight with grilled Alaskan salmon.

Developed nicely. Smooth tannins, slight berry fruit, cassis, cedar and earthy notes. Medium bodied, nice structure. Plush mouthfeel.
