I was worried that this was going to be past it. It does need drinking up, but there's plenty of sweet Merlot fruit, that counterbalances the slightly drying tannins, it's pleasant enough. 86 points

A little flat. Dark and moody, and some darker fruits coming through but got the sense that more was was trying to burst through but couldn't quite manage it. Nice soft rounded tannin. Improved with time in glass (esp. a touch more fruit coming on).

Decent enough Pomerol with enough age on it to make it worth drinking now. Plums, spices, chocolate and a tough of greeness. Not unpleasant, and very drinkable but is better with food than without. The finish was a bit short but this does at least give some representation on terroir. Good enough.

Mature enough and ready for drinking now I think. Good balance of oak, ripe red fruits with leather, blackcherry, some herbaceousness. Nice rounded and mellow tannins. Smooth. Attractive earthiness about it. Very nice drinking now and good value. Stands up well to other more expensive right bank wines. Not overly complex and long but it was a real crowd pleasure at the table. Not a very long laster I don't think.

Dark ruby , nose is Bourbon biscuit- chocolate and vanilla. Taste is sharp red fruit and bright acidity, a bit thin on the finish.
