2nd time I have had this wine and my last bottle. Decanted an hour before dinner for sediment. Paired with a beef bourguinon. Very earthy with faded fruit. Perfumed nose with cedar, tobacco dried mushroom and forest floor notes. Mature and on the decline. Drink now. 85 points.

Huge nose of fine cigar and pipe tobacco, dusty minerality, bay leaf, and notes of smoke. Very agreeable palate that shows all the elements on the nose, along with well integrated baking spices and garrigue-like notes. Not much grip...but not sure it ever was a gripping wine. Drinking at peak. Very, very nice!

Drinking beautifully. Well integrated, acid, tannin and extract in check. Subtly balanced. Silky smooth and persistent. Worth the wait and at peak. Finish is pleasantly dry and dusty but it could be a bit longer.

It was opened and decanted two hours prior to drinking an put in the fridge. It was taken out 20 minutes before we started drinking it. A little thin to begin with, but it really opened up as time went by. A great wine close to or at its best. Just like velvet...I recommend that you start drinking it, if you have any left.

Much better than the previous bottle. This was nice claret, with good acidity and ripe berry and mineral flavors. Finish was moderate, but I liked it.
