Coravin two glasses. Nose of candied pear. Good acidity. Flavors of apricot. Awkward note on the finish, but can’t quite place it. Moderately long finish.

October Wine Dinner in DC (Eric's House in DC): Just an amazing mature nose of toffee, baked apple, apricot. Taste was equally as good with similar mature and complex flavors. Heavy bodied, solid acidity. Opened 1 hr before serving. Shame its my last bottle. This will hold awhile, but no need to wait.

Intensive dark yellow. The ripe bouquet is characterized by candied fruits, orange peels and yellow spices (turmeric), bread bark and flowers (lilies). On the palate also very layery, yellow candied fruits. The botrytis plays a significant role and brings a lot of spice into the wine, malt, burnt sugar without sweetness, again turmeric, the wine is soft in the mouth, is aromatic intensive and complex. The ripe acid carries it, much body, complex. 93 points

(Emmerich Knoll Gruner Veltiner Loibner Vinothekfullung) This wine had so many different flavors at so many different points upon being open it was almost incomprehensible. Chamomile tea, applesauce, celery stalks, ramps, minerals, orange, raspberries and a whole lot more. Layered (citrus fruits, nuts, red fruits) and fat on the palate but a mineral/acid spine brings it all together on the huge, long, lingering finish. I know this is young and will be much more expressive later in life

Drinking fantastically. Mature nose, slightly bitter sherry note. Medium body, good acid. Great mature flavors, some vanilla, light bitter ends.
