A perfectly stored bottles at least since an ex-chateau purchase from JJBuckley. Mixed vintage wood case. Cork was soft and disintegrated. Bottle itself looked new. Wine was basically awful. I concur with the two previous reviewers that didn’t like it at K&L tasting. Too bad, undrinkable.

Pronounced nose of cedar, grilled meat, cherry and hints of strawberries. High, but well integrated tannins and nice acidity. Red plum, dried strawberries, tomato leaf on the palate with a grippy finish.

K&L Bordeaux Tasting (San Francisco): Light ruby fading to a mature tawny color. Very disjointed, stalky nose. Initial fruit is quickly cut off by herbs, strident acidity, and funkiness. Awful finish. This reeks of dirty barrels. Awful.
Still quite primary- mild bricking and no sediment whatsoever. PnP- ripe plums, strawberries, hints of tar and menthol along with mild cedar and plenty of blackberries on the finish. Very surprised at the youthfulness- tannins are round, acid is nice and minerality is mild- curious to see how this evolves in the next 5-7 yrs. Quite lovely
