Old aromas of prunes, plus, licorice, and asian spice. Balanced and integrated body. Surprisingly powerful in the mouth, completely mouthfilling. Lovely mineral driven very long finish. This is lovely but considerably more tired than the 1970 Lynch Bages and fading a bit. As always on older wines, an interesting experience but one wishes for a bit more.
