Longlivebrunello tasting, the "La Paulee" of Montalcino, vin 33:
From three different vineyards in Castelnuovo dell'Abate. Organic back then, biodynamic today. No clarification, no filtering, maceration 15 days. Aged in 500 L Allier casks and 1000 L slavonian botti. 6 666 bottles produced, almost 15% alcohol.
Difficult vintage, this wine is highly oxidized and smells of leather.

Leather, tobacco and dirt with a hint of sour cherry. Better after an hour decant, which brought the wine more into balance. Poor QPR.
