  On the backside of its preferred plateau, and should probably be enjoyed sooner than later. Mature, with moments of delicate beauty; a good sense of place throughout the 2 hours open. recommended

  This wine blossoms with air. Strawberry flavored, almost Rosso-like on the open; simple, showing a mediocre '05 fruit, finishing a bit tannic. Yet, after 2 hours later, the nose picks up pretty aromatics of volatile sap mixed with a dark sweet cherry. The delicate but fresh style of winemaking reminds of a recently drunk '10 Fuligni. The wine tastes smooth yet focused, fresh, showing mostly a delicate red fruit and layers of complexity. This '05 lacks vibrancy and concentration, but a good effort nevertheless.
