Bottle breathe for 40 min. Nice and elegant nose with oolong tea, herbs and some fruit. The palate is integrated tannin, some cherry, rose, tar and smoke. Not the full body type but very smooth. Medium finishing. Best after 1 hour in the glass (before we drink up)

Tracked over five hours on Thanksgiving. Dark cherry color, showing a little age. Some billowing sediment. This offers an interesting steak sauce aroma. This enters with some presence. This is still primary with ripe strawberry, dark cherry, soy, a grated ginger note and with some tart on the tail. Still firm. I’ve seen this steak sauce/soy note on some other 2003. No stewed or scorched vibe. Grand cru all the way. A real treat. 92

Reticent nose of dark, stewed strawberry and modest soil Dark color, concentrated with bricking Dark raspberry but more dark than fruit A dollop of wood with modest earth tone A streak of tart purple A little residual heat as wine warmed up Integrated, slightly bitter tannins with a very long finish Better with food
Tart for my palate, so 92. But truly a 93.

13% ABV. The cork on this bottle is mostly soaked through, but not completely. Translucent garnet with some clearing at the rim and a slight amber tint. Earth and oak primarily on the nose. Medium bodied, somewhat savory and firm black fruit. A suggestion of tea. This is interesting, if pricey, wine. 2199 bottles produced. 92?
