This is terrific stuff, and still young. Very dark red/black, medium to heavy-bodied, with a classic Cali Cab nose of black cherries, cedar, sweet oak. with just a hint of green peppers (very faint, but there). Long, fine tannins with not yet mature and vivid red fruits, and a finish that goes almost a minute. Giant on PnP, and after 90 mins of slow ox, just getting more balanced and tannin-forward on the attack. Rich but not particularly sweet, given that it's a 20 year old Cali cab. If this is sex in a glass, it's more about passion than romance. Sadly my only bottle of this vintage. Without question this could go another 20 years. If I had more I would not touch it for another 5 years, even though it's hedonistic, sensual stuff now. Although it's an entirely different taste profile, this parallels the 1974 Beaulieu PR Cab, which was pretty close to immortal.
Had with Paci's fennel sausage and my wife's magnificent aglia olio. Kvelling....
Joy of joys. Just looked at inventory and I have one more bottle. Ahhh.

bought in a bargain bin for $11. Arrowood is always a good bet and this did not disappoint. Used a third of the bottle to make spaghetti sauce and drank the rest with family while cooking. We all enjoyed it. Soft supple fruit still intact. While at or just past peak it is a pleasant wine that could still last a couple years and be enjoyable.

Very good! Tasted at vinyard. $100. Would be a great value at $50.

Delightful bottle, easy drinking, low fruit - on the other hand not dramatic or memorable.
