Light Golden in color. Lemon, some slate, muted nose. Uninteresting. Acidity still present. Lots of lemon on the palate. Longish finish. A nicely, structured bottle of wine. Lots of life left. Unsure if it will improve. Was hoping for more.

Finally starting to show some age. Drank over two days. First days showed lemon with white flowers nose and lots of mineral notes. Second day brought lots Hazel and Brazil nuts notes and put on lots of weight. Still improving.

Vibrant, shiny, blast of gold Salty oysters on the nose, sea-brine, some lychee and lemon on the nose. Hint of butter. Tight, steely, high mineraity. Petrol taste is a surprise, and fairly dominant on the back end. A nice wine for sure. Happy Easter!

MM Tuesday Night Zoom Tasting (Vancouver, BC): Drank next to the 2010 Marc Morey Puligny-Montrachet Les Referts. More restrained on the nose but a really nice profile. Crushed oyster shells with plenty of tart lemon zest, saline, a touch of flint, and slate. Crisp yet rich on the palate with more Meursault like qualities peeking through. Lemon rind and a punch of acid comes forward on the palate trailing off with a hint of oak. Quite focused, at first I thought the Referts was the clear winner although this won me over as it sat in the glass. Delicious and drinking well at the moment.

Floral, slightly developed on the nose. Fresh acidity, lime, peach, more flowery notes, very good length. Rather viscous mouthfeel. Some hints of dried fruits which makes me wonder if this is on the wane.
