Lovely wine. Opened with initial obvious American oak, but immediately integrated. Medium-bodied, fully mature but still showing lovely notes of red fruits - cherries, strawberries. Fully integrated tannin, elegant in the mouth leading to a pretty, satisfying finish with light mocha and mineral notes.

Initial whiffs of American oak settled down after brief decanting, leading to a lovely, savory drink with melted, integrated tannins, seamless interplay of red fruits, tobacco, and earth. Time to drink up.

Nicely smooth and very merlot roundness. Elegant and slightly voluptuous
