Well, a difficult year. Nose of cherries, vanilla, liquorice, hints of earth, minerals. Palatal attack of dry fruits, tannin in the foreground, oaks, fresh paints , dry finish. Though somewhat faded after 3-4 hours of opening. Dry finish

Popped and poured, essentially. Good color and a nose of green pepper. On the palate, the wine was solid, but rather devoid of fruit. It did work well with the leg of lamb, though. Overall, good, but not remarkable.

Still alive and showing the pencil, cedar and gentle currant spice notes of older Bordeaux. Held up well for a cru bourgois.
