2015 Port Harvest Tour; 9/26/2015-10/3/2015 (Portugal): Amber in color. Slightly subdued nose. Red fruit on the nose with some underlying floral notes. Full bodied with strawberry and a touch of cinnamon. Firm tannins on the mid-palate with a touch of spice.

Decanted 5 hours. A medium ruby color with licorise, dried cranberries, and some heat on the nose. While there was some prominate heat, the higher acidity, anise, and spices keep this light without being lean. Not terribly complex, and probably a little past its best, this still drinks nicely. 87 Points
