Plum, black cherry, sage, dried tea, soy aromas. Plum, tart red berries, spice, sappy red fruit on the finish. Medium weight, chewy but ripe tannins and a medium snap of acidity. This is clearly well made, but in a bit riper style than I usually prefer, so I can see how others would score in the 90-91 range.
