  I was expecting this to be dead but it is quite alive! I can’t believe it’s 15.2%abv. It has the acid to balance the fruit and taste like ripe cherry liqueur.

  Cherry dominated nose and red fruits continued on the palate. Didn't decant and the wine was open for over an hour when we poured and enjoyed. Nice weight with a creamy finish. No major heat, this was nicely in balance.

  Nicely balanced; showing great purity of fruit nicely balanced over firm tannins. The wine shows a touch of heat, which prevents it from getting a higher score. Probably needs some more time, but still showing very nicely right now.
