Sampled a glass via Coravin. Ripe fruit, rich earth with an herbal essence. Balanced acidity. A bit of a stemmy bitterness, which provides depth. Mineral finish. Possibly lacking the ageworthiness of previous vintages, but showing quite nicely at the moment.

Nose is well balanced with a little earthy notes. The Fe Ciega shines with its Sta. Rita Hills nose and color. Great expression of the terroir this wine is well balanced and smooth from taste to finish.
