  • From an excellent looking bottle, this wine had a bright, deep yellow center and clear rims. The medium+ intensity nose put forth almond paste, white stone, lemons, and honey.

In the mouth, this wine was rich and ripe and yet had a great acidic spine. It was gorgeously balanced and had riveting length. After a few hours of air the drama and complexity were very impressive. The long finish had that essence of powdered white stone that makes it so Chablis.

This bottle was outstanding and certainly would give a Raveneau Grand Cru from a great vintage a run for the money. While at its peak, this should last 5-10 years.

  • From a very nice looking bottle, this wine had a deep yellow center and clear rims. The high- intensity nose developed nicely over 4+ hours of air to show marzipan, lemon, oyster shell, and pineapple.

In the mouth, this wine had great richness, huge acidic cut and fantastic balance. It was gorgeously integrated and showed great length.

As we know, the R&V and Camus wines are vinified together. They are only bottled with a different label(please see the cork in my picture). This wine performed exactly like the R&V bottle I drank a year ago or so. It will easily last for 10 years and was fantastic juice!
