Some delicate chemical notes that evaporates. Dry hay and elements of Cotes de Beaune. Really nice floral touch. Elegant and citrus driven on the palate. Wonderful balance.

Very subtle but clean and long lasting mellowed gentle tropical fruits with as hint of herbs and spices. This is the best botltle I have had to date - and it is now 14 years old. Delicious and subtle.

Cool green tinged colour. Quite a steely minerally nose. Follows through to typical deep but elegant chablis palatte. Still relatively unevolved. Still good after 3 days. Excellent.

GAEC du Domaine de Grenouille. Light colour; rich notes of sweet yellow fruit (prunes) and honey are starting to build on a firm and minerally basis; concentrated, stylish, excellent length. Will continue to improve for at least 3-5 years.

Lovely. Proper GC weight, mineral and intense. A lovely half. Good match with smoked eel and horshradish mayo. Ready but no hurry. From a half. ***1/2
