Last bottle from a stash purchased 11 yrs ago...all have been an amazing experience. This one is still very fresh and showing youthful as well...yet noticing more wood spice and burnt sugar...less citrus, green apple freshness...little edgy? Nit picking here a bit...it still delivers pleasure! Creamy and in GC weight...some waxiness, loaded with crushed sea shell saltiness, marine funk, chalky limestone, wet stone...squeeze of lime, white flower and mint florals. There's a nice aged polish and subtlety here...finishes with a little of that spice kick, green apple tart, and classic Chablis limestone dust. VERY Chablis...very satisfying!

Chablis Tasting (Bergi, Latvia): Absolute winner! Stunning gorgeous wine! Intense amber color reveals its 17yo age. Perfumed expressive fragrance of exotic yellow fruits, beautiful tertiary aromas of noble mushrooms. Charming oxidative tones. Wine is on the fragile edge of its peak. We got very lucky to enjoy its shining beauty. Very rich, full-bodied with pronounced acidity. It stayed for quite a long time in the glass generously sharing its flavours. Сoncluding chord of the night!

Belle évolution depuis la dernière.
Aromes de noix, miel et jasmin.
À son peak.
Super!

My last bottle and preceded by an off bottle. Delicate, balanced, some minerality and faded fruit

New stuff at BWFM on March 3, 2018 (Big Wine Freaks Moscow): 89/100
A bottle of Chablis is a tad beyond peak, an old man barely standing. Hints of nuts and honey, evolved, with a bit of bread. Weak acidity though.
This co-op Grand Cru is okayish, I give it that, but that says it all. Falls short of expectations.
