(From half bottle) Golden colour. Nose: Seawater, minerals, oak (butter/corn). With more air comes very Semillon like notes of wax and linoleum. Taste & palate: Medium to light body. More acidity than fruit, although not dried out yet.
Quite typical expression of La Chablisienne´s ripe and slightly oaky style from a "ripe" year, aged quite a bit beyond its peak. Still, in these premox times, I can´t help also being a little impressed by an 18 year old half bottle of Chablis which is still quite alive...

Very nice structure, though likely in decline. Fruit is fading. Grape, star fruit, lemon and grass.
