  • Ponsot's 2011 Griotte-Chambertin perfumed, pretty nose offers up spicy notes of red cherry, raspberry, violet, and potting soil. Midweight with excellent freshness and no sharp edges, soft almost non-existent tannins, the structure here is entirely from the lively acidity. Very good today and likely best for near to midterm consumption.
