  • Excelente bordeaux. Vermelho escuro, um belo nariz de fruta preta, especiarias e tabaco. Na boca e cheio, confirmando o nariz. 40 minutos de respiro são fundamentais

  • This wine is a good overall representation of a Bordeaux Merlot.

Sight: Medium ruby with hints of garnet on the rim

Nose: Red cherry and blackberry with hints of vanilla and Bordeaux spice.

Palate: It translated pretty well on the palate. Powdery tannin due to its age, it would’ve probably drank better in a few years but was delicious regardless.

Overall: At $30 you can’t really go wrong with this wine. It’s 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc so it’s not too heavy on the tannins or acidity. I recommend decanting for at least an hour.

  • This is very representative of Merlot tastes blind with a friend and has aged well!

SIGHT: medium ruby with garnet reflections, garnet rim indicating age.

NOSE: Dark cherry, Black currant, Currants, and concentrated raspberry syrup with the Cab franc keeping the fruit alive but with a jammy character from the merlot and the vintage. The Bordeaux Spice and delicious oaky vanilla characteristics are also well integrated into the nose.

PALATE: The wine translates onto the palate very well but comes off quite dry almost powdery tannins and is medium down the board body, tannin, acid ect… Delicious Black and red ripe fruit good concentration with a lovely spice and well integrated oak on the palate.

OVERALL: For $20 this wine delivers in quality, drinkability, and price I’m glad I waited to open but is still developing! The Cab Franc really provides some lift to the big fruit keeping it away from being jammy and while the finish isn’t the longest the wine is just delicious drink and enjoy loved it !

  • Somewhat modern-styled right bank Bordeaux, smells very good with spices, tobacco and wet earth over jammy forest fruit, tastes not quite as good but fine, with bold ripe dark fruit, quite a bit of spicy oak that's reasonably well integrated, tobacco at the end, firm body but a bit rough around the edges, slight bit of heat from the alcohol. Will easily last several years more, not sure it would improve though. Good value QPR for 15 euro EP.
