Clearly I can’t keep my hands off this wine. This is my sixth tasting note since 2020. Early maturity and punching way above its weight class. It will get better with age, but why not drink it now while the 2005, 2009, and 2010 evolve in the bottle?

Inky deep ruby with slight emerging garnet at the rim. M+/Pronounced intensity of black licorice, blackberry, cigar box, vanilla, and cinnamon. Fine-grit (very slightly rough) ripe high tannins. M+ acid. M/M+ finish. Very good.

Delightful now, with just a touch of a medicinal edge. Ready, so go for it and don't wait, but will go further.

Gorgeous nose right after opening…. A great pop and pour classic Bordeaux - pencil shavings and sweet tobacco. So delicious.
