From Mag: Opened a mag bottle a couple of months ago and was corked. Luckily this wasn't corked and was truly shining. Deep red fruit which took a long time to fully unfold aromatically and on the pallet. So good but better yet in 5 years.

Louis Jadot Dinner with Frédéric Barnier (Booth One - Chicago IL): Served blind in Jadot 1997 flight. Great combination of black and red cherry with an intense richness and an unfolding, elegant finish. So good now, with even further upside from here. My WOTN.

Sexy Amoreuses showing! a developing profile of violets, fallen tree logs, leather, lots of anise/mint. Super fine tannins, weghtless feel in the mouth, Delicious, long and very finessed. More sous bois inflections take form with time in the glass. 93-94 points today with upside potential in my opinion. Quite accessible today from a structural standpoint but the material is holding back a bit still. Beautiful wine. 93-94.

3rd Annual Jadot with Frederic Barnier (Booth One - Chicago, IL): Intense and full nose of red and black cherry with spice and earth. The palate is round and seamless with medium-to-full concentration in an effortless and ethereal frame. Goes on and on.
