Not bad, but losing some freshness. Medium weight, blackberry and other dark berry fruit, good acidity. Unless you want to hold this for several more years to see if it will pinotte, I'd suggest drinking up.

A very respectable bottle of Gamay. A bit darker-fruited than is our preference, but still rather light on the palate with good, bracing acidity. It could probably go a few more years, but is quite appealing now.

room temp, decanted 1/2 hr. Light red. Cranberry, mineral, paint on the nose, not much. Lots of tannins, a bit harsh, dominate the attack and mid palate. Shortish finish. Palate hard to pin down: spice, some red fruit, beef jerky. See if it opens up more when served at dinner later. This won't get any better.
