(Chignard Fleurie "Les Moriers") It was a great reminder how good this wine can be. I thought the '03 to be a disaster after the stunning '02. One of the more animal Chignard noses I have experienced. Barnyard, touch of brett, and some ripe red fruits. Funky yet bright. Palate had beautiful purity and fresh frit. Clean and light bodied but with a solid structure. Wonderful finish and great balance. A joy to drink and has around 5-8 years ahead of it.3/29/2006, (See more on Rockss and Fruit...)
