With 90 minutes of air this expands a bit and really enjoyable with a nice finish although just a bit short of great. I worry just a bit about the alcohol on the nose and the short finish at this point so not sure about the future but this is drinking really well right now. A-?

  Happy to stay at 93 - we are getting red currant - sour cherries and strawberries - we are also experiencing some tomato stem - medium tannins and acidity and a good balance - we are also getting some herbs and some reductiveness. This is a well made wine and we are happy to stay at well deserved 93.

Outclassed by a '12 Clos Reas for its elegance tonight, but enjoyable wine that perhaps showed its best after dinner. Holding strong and may even improve a bit. A-
