Very good. 12.5% alc. Colour: pale straw Bouquet: muted stone fruit, lemon Palate: full bodied melon and stone fruit, some mineral character, long finish, clean, slightly blowsy compared to a Chablis, but nice wine and great value. February 2015

Good drinking and buying at around $15. Soft lemon fruits with a sweet edge, perhaps more new world than Burg, but the underlying modestly suggests Euro. Oil and wet wool t.o finish. Good value

Golden straw colour. Slightly oily Chardonnay nose which is quite welcoming. The palate is firm and strong with strong fruit finish. The texture of this wine is very good. Great value for an any day wine.

{screwcap, 12.5%, A$16} Pale yellow. Buttery, softly oaky nose. Very chardonnay, in a fairly new world style too. The palate is soft and greasy, with a touch of tartness only to offset sweetly peachy fruit flavours. It's a bit anodyne; there's not great persistence or presence on the palate; in the end it's dry, light-bodied and fairly short on the finish. Commodity wine, but competently done.

Creamy gold colour. Strong fruit nose with oaky character, even a touch of oiliness. Creamy fruit with flavour all up front but does not linger. A good solid and strong wine for a great meal at home.
