  • Lunch at Iggy's. Ruby red, with some bricking at the rim. Very interesting nose, with lots of new leather, orange, grapefruit, mineral and black tea. With extended time, even more leather and tea. This just seemed a little too mature for me, even if it was an 83. Soft on the palate, acid and tannin had pretty much disappeared with the fruit, leaving a wine which was certainly pass its best but still unique and interesting, with lots of dusty tannin, dry wood, orange, mint, pomegranate and red tea.
