lIght plum cherry colour, hint of brick. slightly smokey, peppery red cherry fruit, juicy red cherry and plum fruit on the palate. firm slightly austere tannins, but finishes with some nice warm peppery flavours. Very nice, but not spectacular.
As an addendum, after a night's air this was better, darker, deeper and rounder. I was delicious and would upgrade by a point. Still not enough depth and complexity for more .

Dark garnet. Shy aromas of dark berry, coffee, grilled meat, a hint of baking spice. Pronounced red and dark plum on the palate, medium body, strong tannins smoothly integrated, ringing acids, a lovely floral aromatic backnote moving into the long finish. Low alcohol (12.5%). Went well with pesto.

Bien. 69$ cad

Deep ruby, immediate complex aromas of smoked and unsmoked tobacco and tilled organic earth and tart red pruneaux. Acids and tannins remain in enough quantity to see well stored bottles through for still some time but this sample at Juveniles in Paris is in a really good place right now.

Russk. CDC at Andrea's. She brought. Still young. Showing more black pepper and less bacon. But last night the Ossidiana out-Rotied the Cote-Rotie.
