  • I have enjoyed bottles of this over the last few years, and given the substance, wondered if it might improve. Tasted this bottle over three days, and it continues to hold form, though not improve. Drink over the next year or two.

  • Enjoyed over two days. I intentionally stashed these bottles away, wanting to taste the wine after further development, as it showed quite primary up to 2016. I did not know it had been 26 months since tasting the last bottle until entering this note. Cheers to success in holding good bottles that long! This bottle showed noticeably more nuance, and also smoothness. In a early to middle drinking window now, but there is no hurry. 91-92.

  • Rock solid out of the bottle...and it comes to life with air. Beautiful blackberry, Italian plum, and pomegranate fruit, back by abundant earth. Generous mouthfeel, great acid, tantalizing finish. 91-92.

  • Another stellar showing. Tasted double-blind and guessed north Italian, Dolcetto blend. Juicy, substantive, delicious.

  • If blackberry sherbet was dry, this is what it would taste like. Drenched in purple berries with strong herbaceous and earthy tones. Among the best Dolcetto wines I have tasted. Substantive deliciousness. 91-92.
