A nice surprise. Medium color, medium bodied. Nicely balanced with a touch of acidity. A bit on the citrusy side but has some depth. A nice offering from Benziger.

Tropical fruit perfume nose. Pear on the palate, with nice acidity. A trace of oak and no sweetness. Nice grip. Excellent value.

Pears in syrup, dry, a little creamy, slightly oaky but they're using hungarian, fairy bright style. This works.
