  Starting to decline; but still nice. The nose is purely tertiary - cooked red fruits, mushrooms, older leather and pencil lead. The palate is a bit fruitier - sour cherries and big over ripe strawberries join the aforementioned tertiary notes. Medium + body, low tannins (almost completely gone) but some acid is still around.
  
  Drink now, and quickly!

  Wine aged well (2011 vintage consumed in 2022). Tannins incredibly mellow, soft flavours of dried and sour cherry, not much for spices. Was a good addition to thanksgiving ham!

  Nice choice to accompany BBQ'd pork ribs. Needed an hour of decanting before it started to open, ultimately revealing a big, bold fruit smorgasbord punch.

  Decanted for over 2 hours. Aromas and flavors of blueberry, blackberry, plum with savory notes of leather, black olive, and licorice. Medium finish of ripe fruit with balanced acidity and well integrated tannins.
