Color looks great. Golden straw, slight green edge. This wine can’t be 34 yrs old. Very fresh. Lovely stone fruits and lemon curd. Butterscotch on the finish. Good acidity to keep it lively. Not the most complex wine but a delight.

5th Annual Wilson School Auction Tasting (5th Time's a Charmes): -translucent remarkably light gold -reticent aromatics with some hints of orchard fruits -med acidity, med- weight, very faint orchard fruit, some stony minerality, clean, no appreciable oxidative elements -remarkably (impossibly?) young in color and oxidation though the fruit has pretty much disappeared, no significant tertiary development either, all in all not very interesting, this is more intriguing for what it doesn't have than for what it does

No way anyone on the planet would guess that this wine is 26 years old, stunning really. Very light yellow color, no sign of oxidation ANYWHERE. Light, fresh, crisp, and bright acid. Extremely long lean finish. Lemon, rind, and slight sour note.
Steve said he'd swap every burg in his cellar for this wine. Tough to argue with. The drinking window has to be another 20 years. We thought it was a 2011...

Amazingly fresh and bright. Puligny like minerality and a bright succulent middle. Real wow given the age

Insanely delicious and fresh for a 1990. Class in a glass, excellent Meursault character, beautiful acidic balance, rockstar W Burg. 94+.
