Very good, but unfortunately nothing like the last. This seemed to be thinning a bit, the character leaning towards the very tertiary. Not unenjoyable, but not a top 59 Sauternes experience.

Nose: Gorgeous nose of burnt caramel, apricot, brown sugar, nutmeg and candied nuts. Highly nuanced and deep. Palate: Perfect balance of sweetness and acidity with beautiful brulee, apricot, clementine, clove and spice notes. Deep inner mouth perfume. Finish: extraordinary length and freshness that provides a peak at the lemon and quince notes of youth. Overlay of brown spice and baked apricot.

From an excellent looking bottle with a bottom neck fill, this wine had a deep orange/light amber center and yellow/clear rims. The medium+ intensity nose displayed almond paste, brown sugar, pear and lemons.
In the mouth, this wine was medium bodied for a Sauternes. It was reasonably rich but had crisp acidity and very good length.
While this wine won't threaten Y'Quem's ratings but it was a very satisfying drink.
