Huge improvement as it has integrated. But this does feel heavy on oak, and somewhat international in style. If there is a style to this i dont know if i like it. But more quality here than i drink normally. Drink now, fruit is barely holding up to the oak.

The nose was amazing, absolutely captivating. Palate a bit less so but still very enjoyable. Good length finish. Popped and poured, no need to decant.

Sommelier Scholarship Fund Tasting (Popina - Brooklyn NY): Walk around tasting. Fun red fruit is accessible and everything is well balanced, this seems to finish slightly simpler than I recall from earlier this year. Good now.

La Paulée de New York - The Verticals (Eventi Hotel - New York NY): Walk around tasting. Slightly more weight and length than 2014, less less ripe or fun fruit, even with a similar Vosne-like profile. Also good now.
