The final wine of our company's Friday Wine Tasting. Allen Meadows nailed it with his notes: a big, round mouthful of black fruit, backed by subtle spice and earth notes. It's full, deep and completely satisfying. The tannins on the finish provide a dusty, dry finish. The tannins overpowered the acidity when we first opened it, but three hours later they were beautifully balanced.
