From memory. This was very enjoyable and quite good. Dark crimson color, somewhat transparent. Showed slight aging. Nose was very MSD, with rich blue and darker berry fruits. Some earthiness. On the palate, consistent with black cherry and blue notes, good minerality and acidic structure. Tannins were integrated and subdued. But it lacked some of the density and weight I’d expect from a grand cru. That said, for less than the price of some average premier cru’s, this still very enjoyable and I’m glad I have another bottle to see how it develops further.

A wonderful wine. Still so youthful in its presentation. A lot of burgundy funk on the nose, which I don't mind. Fruit is beautiful (strawberries galore), but there is a little savoriness to it (ever so slight green tannins?). Amazing mouthwatering acidity. Very fine tannins. Finish lasts forever. Beautiful.

During walkabout tasting and Paulee dinner, so only brief impressions. This producer is known for picking early as the wine maker Benoit Stehly does not like ripe, opulent wines. Looks like it has backfired in a bad year like 2011. The wine is soft and pleasant on the palate but there is a prominent herbal note. Picked too early? Better try the outstanding 2009/2010 CSD and also CdR.

Very good but not grand cru level. Nice authentic flavours but misses center and length but the vintage may explain.
