Sommelier Scholarship Fund Tasting (Popina - Brooklyn NY): Walk around tasting. Orchard fruit throughout, aging with grace and charm. Very good depth. Good length. Served slightly too warm, but even better today vs when last tasted in 2019.

La Paulée de NY Verticals Tasting (Kimpton Hotel Eventi): 11/00/96 When nearly 20 year old white Burgundy hits, this is it. Impressive, appealing nose of rich, mature white fruit with oxidative / honeyed complex layering. Complexity follows suit on the palate riding a fresh, vibrant body. Impressive for it's level.

(Marc Morey Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru "En Virondot") Oak, mineral, yellow fruits on the very aromatic nose. Great palate. Honeyed tropical fruits along with floral notes and a somewhat oily texture. Super complex and tremendous length on the finish with nice acid pumping the fruit. Tremendous!

Candied lemon peel, marzipan, honey, lemon oil, whiff of smoke and autumn leaves. Medium bodied, silky and impeccably well-balanced.

La Paulée de New York - The Verticals (Eventi Hotel - New York NY): Tasting, brief note. Mature apple and baked apple with good depth, good nuances. I haven't had this wine in 15 years and enjoyed it more now vs 2004.
