  Showing a bit of it’s age with a dark purple core and a lighter slightly bricked edge, this Volnay has great concentration while retaining its elegance and acidity. Flavors of black cherry, red berry and wet earth. Punchy fresh classic Pinot Noir aromatics. Developing secondary and tertiary flavors and aromas, but can’t say how long with wine will hang on. Drink now? Wine like this still remind me how much I love Oregon Pinot Noir at half the price.
