Goodness knows where I go the bottles from. Must have bought them on recommendation, especially given their quality. Had few expectations when I drank this two days ago, but it was excellent. Probably too old for a Chianti Classico, but it was well-kept and well-preserved. Colour quite rusty, but plent of bouquet. Taste excellent, perhaps fading very slightly, but still a great pleasure. Well there you go, not always bad surprises...

The Oddbins Old World Wine Fair; 5/16/1992-5/17/1992 (London): Great nose. Good, structured palate with good finish, and really nice after. Very Good Indeed.
