Surprisingly good with a nice dark fruity earth driven flavor along with wild spice. Good lift and impressive for the label. Price tag of $7.89 was coo, to see as well as I bought it on release. Should have bought more, lol

Vinetasters: Châteauneuf-du-Pape (Skokie, IL): Served double blind. There's something slightly lactic and sour on the nose that is a little unpleasant, but it's not overpowering. There's also a slight rusty metallic note on the nose that I don't like too much either. The palate has a slight confectionary quality to it, but there's ample acidity on the palate to cut it. It seems a little disjoint in that it's sweetness first, followed by acidity. My 10th, group's 6th.

Drank with new MW Mr. Tan YH and my friends in Mr Tan's place. Showing aged burgundy/rioja traits. Lovely and kept developing through the short span. Great value, fuller body than the last one.

A wine meant for birthday celebration that painted a picture of sadness - A visit to the grave of the loved one after rain: Nose of wet flower bouquet, extinguished incense, palate had notes of roast meat, black pepper, smoke and earth, painted a picture of sacrificial ritual in front of the tombstone after rain.....aftertaste was wrapped in waves of acidity, tannin grew with time, feels like fragments of memories wrapped in sadness....A wine past its peak yet inspired a vivid image
